How to enable smileys for comments

If you follow my post here,you could allow users to post animated smileys in their comments to your blog.
To do this,
Enable your blogspot's comment form.After you have enabled your blog's comment form,
Go to Design > Edit HTML section
Select the expand widget templates option(found on top-right side of your blog's template code within the text area)
Now press ctrl+f, this is the find option,use this to find the following lines

Replace them with these lines

How to change Blogger Template without losing widgets

Ever banged your head for losing widgets close to you because of a silly mistake like it has happened so many times for me?We all,change our minds from time to time.God knows how many templates we change before settling for one.But changing templates has a downside.Tweaks which you made to your previous template will be discarded by your new one and widgets get lost in the process.I will explain to here,how to avoid losing widgets while chaging blogspot templates.

• Save your main blog's tempalte before you follow what i say just in case the code fails (which it shouldn't!)
• Arrange all of your widgets in the same area.Putt all mainbar configurations into the mainbar section
• Get your main blog's HTML code.Got to 'Design' and then click on 'Edit HTML'.Copy it to Wordpad
• Now press Ctrl+f in wordpad and type b:widget.
• All widgets will be displayed
• Copy all the b:widget lines(each line stands for one widget) to notepad
• Create a new blog with any template.Name it as anything you want
• Go to 'Design' and click on 'Edit HTML'
• Upload or enter the entire code into it

If you want to change to a blogger template follow these steps

1. Go to Design and pick a new template
2. Pick your new template which you want for your main blog
3. Go to Design-->Edit html

• Go to Page Elements and then -->Add page element
• Add any gadget.For example a link list(I'll explain using the link list widget)..
• If you followed all the instructions above you will have two widgets(title and link list)
• Now go back to Layout -->Edit HTML
• Use Ctrl+f and find b:widget here also.
• Find the one which will be Linklist1
• Paste 1 between the

Plese replace the ( in the code to < and ) in the code to >

(b:section class='sidebar' id='sidebartop') 
(b:widget id='LinkList1' locked='false' title='xxx' type='LinkList'/)

• Save your template.
• Now copy the template code and paste it in your main blog.

How to make the Blogger Navbar disappear

Though there are no navbars in most modern blogs,i decided to make this post for all those people who are reluctant to change their good old Blogger framework.
This is a step by step instruction on how to remove the Blogspt navbar on top of every Blogspot website.There are two codes

1. To Reduce the Navbar's height
2. To reduce the Navbar's visibility

Let us, see both the methods:-

Just paste the following code anywhere between the (head) tags

1. To Reduce the Navbar's height

#navbar-iframe {
height: 0px;
}

     2.  To reduce the Navbar's visibility

#navbar-iframe {
visibility: hidden;
}

But both these methods do leave a gap above the header which was actually meant for the Navbar.To hide this space also just paste this bit of code anywhere between the head tags:

}
